Tochigi Skyberry Roadshow took place in Jaya grocer the garden (Located at the heart of Mid Valley City in The Garden Mall) on 19-21 January 2018, in the magnificent surroundings of the Jaya Grocer outlet, many thanks to Jaya Grocer, The Garden for hosting us that day.

Tochigi Prefecture in North Tokyo is the biggest Japan’s producer of strawberries (or Ichigo in Japanese) and is known as "The Strawberry Kingdom”. Tochigi is apparently suited to the cultivation of strawberries since it is blessed with long hours of sunlight during winter, fertile soil and clean water. The Strawberries grown there are well known for their high quality and usually very sweet.

We flew these unique and elegantly packed fresh strawberries for this particular roadshow. Visitors had their chance to taste the best-known cultivars, from Tochigi's famous Skyberry,Ibarakiss, and Yayoihime and met their official mascot!

This roadshow attracted hundreds of visitors during the three-day programme, most of the visitor really loved the taste and very surprised at how sweet and fresh it tasted.
