We as Malaysia's leading fruits and vegetables importer and exporter – gladly brought to the local market high - quality, carefully - tended and innovative agricultural produce that Korea has to offer – The Maehyang Strawberry and Korean melon (chamoe (참외).

This roadshow event and sampling activities were carefully arranged throughout Malaysia at a lot of outlets between them are Tesco Pulau Pinang, Tesco Sungai Petani, Jaya Grocer Subang, Maxvalu Makhota Cheras, Jaya Grocer Cyberjaya, Aeon Big Mid Valley, TF Value Mart Muar. TF Value Mart Ipoh, Maxvalu Bangsar, Aeon Big Subang, and others.

The Korean melon or chamoe (참외), following its Korean name, is a type of melon primarily grown in Korea. The fruit is typically about half-foot (15 cm) long and weighs slightly over 1 pound (0.45 kg). It is smooth and oblong, with white stripes that run the length of the fruit. It has white flesh that is juicy and sweet, and the seed cavity is filled with small white seeds. Although most Korean melons marketed are yellow in color, there are variant cultivars of green or ivory colors. The flavor has been described as a cross between a honeydew melon and a cucumber. The fruits are usually eaten fresh; with its thin rind and small seeds, the melon can be eaten whole.

The Korean strawberries have a striking red hue, a shining appearance, and a more conical shape. They have an arresting scent like fruit-flavored candy compared to the muskier, more earthy scent of other strawberries. The taste is strong and sweet, without lingering on the tongue. They are comparatively less moist and thus crunchier.

We are joyous to serve locals the taste of Korean Fruits, thanks to all that involved in this successful sampling session and roadshow!

You still can get these fruits in selective store, while it lasts.
