JAPAN EHIME MANDARIN ROADSHOW & SAMPLING
In collaboration with Ehime "Ai-Food" Promotion Organization , Khaishen Trading Sdn Bhd and Aeon Big Malaysia, we successfully brought the juicy Ehime Mikan Mandarin to Malaysian to taste it in several session throughout January and February.
The tasting session was held in several Aeon Big outlets ( Aeon Big Midvalley, Aeon Big Bandar Utama, Aeon Big Kinta City Perak, Aeon Big Queensbay Penang, Aeon Big Bandaraya Melaka, Aeon Big Tebrau City Johor).
Ehime Mikan is one of the best citrus fruits from Ehime Prefecture, which is also known as the Citrus Kingdom in Japan. The production of citrus fruits in Ehime is about 250,000 tons per year, and by far, Ehime Prefecture produces the largest quantity of citrus in Japan. Ehime Mikan is famous for its fabulous taste with well-balanced of sweetness and tartness. Ehime Mikan is easy to peel by hand, and you could eat the whole Mikan with its inner skin.Ehime Mikan is available for most of the time of the year, from late May to the end of the March.
